Information notice pursuant to Articles 13 and 14 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) for users of the websites www.horusrawmaterials.it and www.horusrawmaterials.com.

The data controller is Horus Raw Materials Srl, registered office Viale Certosa 218, 20156 Milano (MI), Italy, tax/VAT no. IT03977430986, REA MI-2782368. Any request concerning the processing of personal data may be sent to info@horusrawmaterials.com, to the certified email horus.rm@pec.it, or in writing to the operational headquarters at Via Giuseppe Ravizza 3/C, 28066 Galliate (NO), Italy.
Browsing data. The IT systems and software procedures used to operate this website acquire, during their normal operation, certain data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols (IP addresses, time of request, pages visited, browser type and operating system). Such data are processed by the hosting provider to ensure the proper functioning and security of the website and are retained only for the time strictly necessary in accordance with the provider's policies.
Data voluntarily provided by the user. Submitting the information request form entails the acquisition of the data entered by the user: full name, company or institution, email address, telephone number (optional), subject and content of the message. Optionally sending emails to the addresses indicated on the website entails the acquisition of the sender's address and any other data contained in the communication.
Data provided through the contact form or by email are processed exclusively to reply to the user's request, provide the commercial information requested and manage any pre-contractual or contractual relationship. The legal basis is the performance of pre-contractual measures taken at the request of the data subject (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and, as regards forwarding through the form, the consent given by the user (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
Browsing data are processed on the basis of the controller's legitimate interest in ensuring the security and proper delivery of the service (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Data are not used for direct marketing, profiling or automated decision-making.
Processing is carried out using IT and electronic tools, with logic strictly related to the stated purposes and with appropriate security measures to prevent data loss, unlawful or improper use and unauthorised access.
Data may be processed by the following parties, acting as data processors or independent controllers:
• Aruba S.p.A. (Italy) — hosting and domain services provider;
• Formspree, Inc. (United States) — technical service that receives the data entered in the contact form and forwards them by email to the controller; transfers to the United States are based on the safeguards provided for in Articles 44 et seq. GDPR (Standard Contractual Clauses adopted by the European Commission);
• Proton AG (Switzerland) — the controller's email service provider; Switzerland is covered by an adequacy decision of the European Commission.
Data are neither disseminated nor disclosed to third parties for purposes other than those indicated, except where required by law.
Google Fonts (Google Ireland Ltd.). The website uses fonts loaded from Google's servers; the user's browser transmits to Google the IP address and the technical data required to serve the font. Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy.
OpenStreetMap (OpenStreetMap Foundation, United Kingdom). The Contact page embeds a map provided by OpenStreetMap; loading it entails transmission of the user's IP address to the service. Policy: https://wiki.osmfoundation.org/wiki/Privacy_Policy.
Formspree (Formspree, Inc.). Handles the submission of the contact form, as described in section 4. Policy: https://formspree.io/legal/privacy-policy/.
The website does not use profiling cookies or tracking tools for advertising or statistical purposes. Only technical cookies strictly necessary for the operation of the website may be used, for which the user's consent is not required. The third-party services listed in section 5 may use their own technical cookies in accordance with their respective policies.
Data submitted through the contact form or by email are retained for the time necessary to reply to the request and, where a business relationship is established, for its duration and the subsequent statutory periods. Where no follow-up occurs, data are deleted within 24 months of the last contact. Browsing data are retained in accordance with the hosting provider's policies, normally for no longer than 12 months.
Under Articles 15-22 GDPR, data subjects have the right to obtain access to their personal data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability, as well as to object to processing and to withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.
Requests may be sent to info@horusrawmaterials.com or to the certified email horus.rm@pec.it. Data subjects also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, www.garanteprivacy.it) or with the supervisory authority of their country of residence.
Providing the data marked as mandatory in the contact form is necessary to follow up on the request; failure to provide them makes it impossible to reply. Providing the other data is optional.
The controller reserves the right to update this notice; the version in force is the one published on this page with the date of last update.
